Broccoli wakes up from their dream. The boat has breached land. Broccoli and Olive both exit and Olive takes their lamp from the bow. They replace the old battery with a new one.

Broccoli hold the lantern in front of them as they traverse the island of ash. Olive drinks liberally from bottles of honey.

Broccoli lowers the lamp and sees that the ground is covered in burned bodies.

Broccoli watches the Fire Demon sing. There are tears in their eyes.

Olive kisses Broccoli on the forehead. Tears stream down their face.

Olive slowly approaches the Fire Demon from behind. They accidentally step on a severed limb and it snaps. The Demon turns around and looks in Olives direction. Olive is terrified. The Demon does not move or make an expression. Eventually, they turn their head back around and continue to hum.
Broccoli (to themself): he’s not attacking
Olive: I dont…

The Fire Demon suddenly looks shocked. They reach for Olive and Olive starts to run. As they run they snap more branches. The Demon is up now, and pursuing them. Olive uses the knife to tear a hole in the fabric of reality and water pours from it, drenching the Fire Demon. He screams in pain, reeling back. Olive drinks another bottle of honey and smashes it on the ground. They charge at the Demon, screaming and swiping at them with their knife. The Demon dodges every swipe and grabs Olive's hand. They struggle, but cannot break free. The demon crushes their fist and Olive's arm splinters into peices. They fall to the ground, narrowly missing the Fire Demon's punch. Now their arm is gone. They stumble to their feet, knife in the hand they still have.
Olive: ok ok
Olive steps back fearfully.

Olive tears another hold in the fabric of reality, but this time, no water comes out. Some flying clocks emerge from the tear. Olive tears another hole and this time it leads to The Happy Meadow, where some of Doris's cats look to be having a tea party.

The Fire Demon looms over them.
Olive gives up and makes a run for it.

Broccoli speaks to themself exasperated.

Olive hears this and picks up a stone, throwing it far from them and moving the opposite direction quietly. The Fire Demon follows the sound of the stone, grasping at nothing. Olive moves silently up a cliff and stares from above.
Broccoli cheers.

The Fire Demon turns towards Broccoli. They pick up a pointed stick and throw it in Broccoli's direction. The stick pierces them through the chest. Broccoli falls to the ground.

The Fire Demon (I'll call them Inferna) is blind because of being the embodiment of rage. People often use the term "blind rage" when someone is super angry. This may also be because of Inferna's fire being so bright that it blinded them, both literally and to the reality of what they're doing to these poor people.
What do you guys, gals, and others think of this theory?
I agree on this theory it fits very well with Inferna!
