I HAVE SO MANY QUESTIONSS AAAAAAAAAAH!!! Like if Lady Doris doesnt like tea why make it polite and good? If its because she doesnt like it why mak e HONEY??? For Brogli? Student is neutrality not the CONCEPT right so student shouldnt be evil and if neutral is nothing Student is nothing TO DORIS. However Brogli, Waffles, etc ARENT PURE GOOD OR PURE EVIL so unlike Doris they can see and know Student. BTW I luv this comic 100000000 /5 stars :3 also I miss caked up Waffles :(

Lady Doris seemed to be not too bothered about her limited omniscience in the guessing game with Broccoli. She adjusted to that limit due to not "looking down". However, she really fought Broccoli on getting it wrong about the peppermint preference. This could be one of the minute shifts in the timeline she mentioned. But I hypothesise, that its because Broccoli was fashioned after herself. Broccoli's undying devotion to her may be because its also her will. I think Lady Doris's perceived cruelty to Broccoli is a reflection of blunt accuracy of knowing oneself.

So Lady Doris was so sure about the peppermint because she tells us about herself, she does not like something that is hot and cold because it scares her. It defined the idea of her omniscience: is it or is it not. Hence the play on her being white another comment mentioned ago, she is the full spectrum of the RGB values. Her malevolent figure, she acclaims is the opposite of her omniscience as well. It copies, it learns, it constantly shifts so it cannot be contained by her.

When she eats the peppermint, her space turns pink, like Broccoli's room.

this reminds me of a specific form of Time travel.

At first, everything acts Deterministically, right until someone goes back in time.

that person then becomes the only one capable of acting non-deterministically.

this causes a new branch in the timeline to form.

this is the only way to create a new branch.

Lady Doris, being Non-Linear and all, creates a new branch when she actively deviates.

this could be because she did something for no apparent reason, or simply because she didn't actively follow the current path.

at least to me, Lady Doris seams too scared to deviate simply because she has fooled herself into believing it it Impossible.

It took me a while, but I think I figured out what’s happening here: the peppermint created a new universe. Doris mentioned that she hasn’t made a new universe for a while earlier, but look at how the black void of the nothingness outside of reality fills up with white as she bites into it. The ending almost feels like a computer booting up, with the unique art style of the new universe loading in. And look at what that art style is! It’s Broccoli pink! I think by giving Doris the peppermint, they finally successfully “broke off the path” and, through Doris, made their own reality. Doris appears to get stabbed by the peppermint universe forming from the shock of someone else making a universe.

The peppermint exists with both just like her, and at the end of the chapter, she sees light pink, a color that is not on the RGB circles because it was thought that perfect could not have imperfections.
