I like how "student" is refered to literally any and all pronouns but is still her boyfriend. Some would say that's not very gender of her, but I say it's very inverse Good Janet, so very slay I'll say...slay indeed...
Oh I love The Polite and Good Place. One of my favorite shows featuring Janet
Tragic yuri...(?) hffhdjsj
but also The Narrative Decision to follow student's first smile with Student Actually Killing Someone is so potently devastating aaughh I love this comic so much
The panel where Broccoli is threatening Bessie, with the sinister red light behind them and the halo looks familiar, I think it was when Olive was talking about The Princess... Who was famed for her fighting skills...
Yay new entry just dropped!
I have SO MANY THINGS to say about this:
1. Great fight scene even if it's a mirrored fight
2. Student is actually showing signs of sentience! Starting from his/her alignment with Brocolli (copying Bessie's rapier and defending) to the choosing of only one word to mimic "...Fool"
3. Student shows a smile! Followed by (accidental) murder! How amazing!
OK so one thing I've notice is that when brocoli is doing something polite and good, you can see their seams and their eyes turn to buttons. I think is this such an awesome motif to show just how loyal and dedicated to Doris they are! You can tell every time when he begins to get existential or when he lashes out in this episode, it's so cool!!!!
I wanted to mention this earlier when I noticed it a while back but I wanted till it came up again in the most recent issue :D
I never noticed that, that is a rly cool detail
